The Challenge
Homeowners and designers wanted to visualize renovations before committing to them — the client needed an end-to-end platform that could take a single room photo and generate credible style redesigns, with usage metered and shareable results.
The Approach
We built RenoVision (branded Neural Studio) end-to-end: a FastAPI/SQLAlchemy backend with JWT authentication, user profiles, and a credit system to manage AI generation usage, plus async generation via Celery and Redis with status polling. A pluggable AI service layer lets the generation pipeline swap between internal models and third-party APIs. The Next.js 16 / React 19 frontend covers uploads, generation triggers, gallery and project management, shareable token-secured links, and an inspiration feed with categories, search, likes, and bookmarks.
